Something's wrong with me because I have NO IDEA WHAT DAY IT IS. I keep thinking it's Friday, or Wednesday, but I know that yesterday was Wednesday and that tomorrow is Friday so it must be Thursday. And tomorrow when I wake up I'll probably think it's Thursday. Oh welllll...

Can you believe that I have never seen Garden State? I feel like everyone and their mom has seen it, and apparently it is "OMGSOGOOD!", and Elissa and I keep on trying to rent it but Blockbuster never has it on DVD, and we obviously cannot watch it on VHS because VHS is like, OMGSONINETIES.

Went to the beach again today. I got tanned to the EXTREME. And there was this sandbar in the ocean, which was pretty neat since we could go out really far. FAR OUT! Sorry. I'm like...way confused, you know? I have absolutely no idea what day it is, I don't know the date, I barely even know what month it is...why am I so confused?

So. It is Thursday, August 4th, 2005. And I am probably going to forget that by tomorrow.

WHOA IT'S AUGUST FOURTH! In one month it will be my half birthday. Apparently when I was six and a half I had a half-birthday party (or so my mother tells me) but I don't believe her since I can't remember any of it.

So today I actually went to the beach. This week has consisted of a lot of me listening to music that I do not like, such as Emery, The Starting Line, and...other bad emo bands. But I can deal with it because at night I get to chill to my music, that being...good stuff that I don't feel like typing out now because I'm lazy and I'm in the process of eating Ritz Crackers, which are like heaven in a buttery crispy shell.

Anyway...I really wish I had some *Nsync to rock out to. We all know they were so much better than the Backstreet Boys, and anyone who wants to say otherwise can go to a Backstreet Boys concert. HA. Yeah, what now?

Today Elissa and I watched Save The Last Dance, and I seriously did not realise how white Julia Stiles is. Like, seriously. She may possibly be the whitest woman alive. Well, maybe not, but you know what I mean. Her hair was so dorky and she was so uncool and I nearly died laughing. Oh, that Julia Stiles. Elissa keeps wanting me to say Julia Roberts instead of Julia Stiles.

So now I think we're going to go watch The Notebook...? Which isn't such a bad movie, you know. I thought it was going to be all bad and chick flicky and makes-me-want-to-vomity, but it wasn't.

And just because this entry wouldn't feel right without a mention of Harry Potter, I would just like to say that there better be some GoF pictures of Draco soon or I will...go crazy on the WB's ass. Yeah.

The Beach, Part 2!

Today Elissa and I watched Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights. It wasn't the best movie I've ever seen (duh) but the main guy, Javier Suarez (not the actor, just the name of the character he played) was so, so, so very sexy. And Cuban dancing is extremely hot.

So yesterday in celebration of Harry Potter's birthday I ate a strawberry cheesecake Blizzard from Dairy Queen. When I get back home I am going to require daily trips to Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins to get some ice cream. Or doughnuts. Or both. Or coffee. Or all three...

Anywhoo, Coldplay is such a good band. I can really mellow out to them, you know? We were listening last night whilst playing a big game of Scattergories and it was so chill and good stuff like that...man. I really wish I had an iPod. And then I would name it Lucius, since it would be a regular old white iPod and my iPod would be mad pimpin' and we all know that Lucius Malfoy is a pimp, hence the naming of my iPod as Lucius. Wow, that was an extremely long explanation for a name.

I hope no more of my fish died. How weird is this--I had one fish named Sirius Black and he died, and I had another fish named Dumbledore and he (HBP SPOILER--ah, fuck it, if you haven't read the book by now you are a bad fan indeed) died too! Can you believe that? Every time I named my fish after a dead or dying HP character, the fish died too! It's insane.

I'm going to go now and finish up my Fun Dip made by Willy Wonka. Elissa's brother looks like the Gene Wilder version of Willy Wonka, it's pretty funny.

Oh, and--I am going into MySpace overload. TOO MUCH MYSPACE. SOMEONE SAVE ME.

So I am updating from the beach place! Good times, right? Yeah.

So...I have nothing to say! Except that yesterday was Harry Potter's birthday, and I so forgot. Whatever. Party on, dude (to Harry Potter). I want to bake him a cake, that says, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY HARRY JAMES POTTER, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS YESTERDAY AND I WAS A BAD FANGIRL BY COMPLETELY FORGETTING. FORGIVE ME?"
OH MAN. I totally thought today was August 1st. So I can still celebrate Harry Potter's birthday with some cotton candy ice cream. Rock on, HP.

Anyway...so yesterday I was on the boardwalk with Elissa and this guy in front of me threw a ball and it hit my legs, and he turned around and looked into my eyes and said, "I'm sorry!" and I was like, "It's ok, DO ME NOW."

Except I didn't really say that, but you get the point. But seriously. He was extremely attractive, I should have just grabbed him and made out with him right there on the boards.

Anyone else think personality types are really interesting? I think I'm going to have to take a psychology class/go into that field of study, it's so fascinating. Anyway, as for the personality types...I have taken loads of quizzes and discovered that I am an INTP.

Here's a basic rundown:
"The mind of an INTP is both a finely-honed analytical tool and a playground of ideas. Its strongest function is introverted Thinking, which is supported by extroverted iNtuition. In other words, INTPs interact with the outer world intuitively, observing the big picture and its implications. So. I've just about given up on going to bed before 3 AM. Cool, right? Now I can join the ranks of the insomniacs and display my "I do not sleep because I am uber-l33t" badge. Or something to that effect. But seriously? I do my best work between the hours of 2 and 4 AM. My best work being thinking, writing, and Photoshopping.

I'm currently eating a strawberry popsicle and typing at the same time. If that's not skill, then I don't know what is.

Anyway. I so wish I had a paid account. Then I could spice up this entry by creating a poll. Or posting by e-mail. Or posting by phone, for fuck's sake. By phone! Who even needs that?!

I have nothing else to say, except that Coldplay: X&Y and Harry Potter: The Prisoner of Azkaban Soundtrack are currently making my life go round right now. Oh, and rock paper scissors. Has anyone ever wondered why the hell paper beats rock? Like, is that game living in a fantasy world or something? Last time I checked, rocks can tear paper. Uh, what exactly is a piece of paper going to do to a rock? Paper cut it into pebbles? I don't think so. "Paper covers rock!" you say. And your point is...?

Dumbledore my fish, that is. Yes, my silver tetra was found floating around in my fish tank this morning, along with Ronald Weasley, my male fancy guppy. It was weird. Two deaths in one day. Me thinks Lord Voldemort is behind this...oh, there's an idea. I should get a crazy fish and name it Lord Voldemort.

As for my other fish, they're all doing quite well. I have about 30 Half-Blood Princes floating around (read: the baby fishspawn of Molly Weasley and Sirius Black, my two mollies, both orange and black respectively) and I'm waiting for Hagrid (my catfish bottom-feeder) to eat at least 29 of them. There can only be one Half-Blood Prince, you know.

In other news, I really want a paid LiveJournal account. Mayhaps I will ask for one for Christmas? It would be extremely useful for the iconage. And there's this really cool S2 layout that you can only get if you're a paid user. The cool new S2 layout would get me back into the swing of layouting, I think.

Anyway. I am so incredibly bored right now. Last night I was up until 3 AM doing nothing because I couldn't sleep. I think I'm going to go and watch a movie or something.

Lucius Malfoy should write a novel from Azkaban entitled, "Avada Kedavra, Or, How I Lost Favour With the Dark Lord and Other Stories." Or become a gangsta rapper.

Toujours pur means "always pure." I just found this out today when I Google-Language-Tool'd the Black family motto. I think I shall have to adopt it as my own, because we all know that I am always pure. Heh.

Lord Voldemort, the Phantom of the Opera, and Darth Vader all need to go into group therapy. They have serious mommy issues.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was such an enjoyable movie. Willy Wonka had the best voice/laugh ever, it was so weird. But these people behind me in the theatre kept "Aw"-ing at all of these parts that weren't suppose to be cute or whatever. It was extremely annoying, as you can imagine.

On another note, I've been using Photoshop too much. Yesterday I was in the car with my mom and the sun was setting and I thought to myself, "Wow, that's a really nice gradient in the sky..."
